Experiences: Head of Global Processing Center for the International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project (ISCCP) of the World Climate Research Program (WCRP) since 1982
Member of Science Teams for the CloudSat and Calipso missions, the Center for Multi-scale Modeling of Atmospheric Processes, the NASA Energy and Water Study (Integration Team), the NASA Cloud Modeling and Analysis Initiative (team leader), the Earth Observing System (EOS), the Tropical Rainfall Measurement Mission (TRMM), the NASA Global Aerosol Climatology Project, the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) project, the ScaRab project, the First ISCCP Regional Experiment (FIRE), the Galileo mission to Jupiter, and the Pioneer Venus mission.
