Posted on July 10, 2016NOAA CREST Center is executing some summer field studies to improve our understanding of extreme heat events in dense urban environments. The field studies starts in the summer 2016, and will continue over the next five years. These studies consist of comprehensive surface and vertical observations of the thermal environment across the City, and high resolution weather forecasts.
