CALIPSO Workstation

CALIPSO (Cloud-Aerosol Lidar and Infrared Pathfinder Satellite Observations) Workstation is located at Hampton University. CALIPSO was developed in part by Hampton University and launched by NASA in 2006. The objective of CALIPSO is to improve our understanding of the global climate, hurricanes and temperature changes. Prof. Patrick McCormick is co-principal investigator for the satellite experiment CALIPSO.
