Outreach summer programs

CREST SUMMER OUTREACH programs includes:

CURE : Crest undergraduate research experience is a 8‐week paid summer internship for undergraduates.
HIRES : High School Initiative in Remote Sensing of earth systems science and technology
REU : The REU program is a NSF funded grant. This program aims to increase participation of undergraduate students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) research by traditionally underrepresented groups
WEATHER CAMP : The Weathercamp at the City University of New York is a two week program for high school students from the New York City metropolitan area. Concepts of meteorology are demonstrated by hands-on activities whenever possible, and applied to weather observations both locally and around the country.
